"Whether it’s through painting or creating sculpture, I enjoy expressing myself through my art. With all media, beauty can be found in imperfection-whether it be putting together rusty metal or the seemingly random application of paint to a canvas. When I paint, I love the drips, lumps, splatters and scraps. When I create my sculptural pieces, I love the rust, twisted wire, smashed cans, gnarly surfaces and the rebirth of discarded objects."
